Ela I is a girl of the proud tribe of the Maasai, who settled, in the area of the Great Rift
Valleys in Kenya and Tanzania.
Ela decorates herself with pearl collars, headbands and chains.
The Maasai call these glass beads "Poundpearls" because thy hop up and down with the jumps of
dancing girls.
