Ela II, a Hamar girl of the Omo valley in southwest Ethiopia, an area with a lot of warriors,
wears animal skins with iron ornaments, held together with "Kaurimussels" and belts.
Pearl ornaments are also carried on the head of Hamar-women, whose hairdress consists of
twisting hairstyles.
